Retreat Terms & Conditions

By registering for this retreat, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please review them carefully before completing your registration.

Registration & Payment

Your registration is confirmed once payment is received, either in full or through an approved payment plan. A non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot. If you select a payment plan, all payments must be completed by the final payment deadline communicated at registration: July 1, 2026.

Failure to complete payments by the required date may result in forfeiture of your spot without refund.

What’s Included

Your retreat fee includes three nights of lodging, most meals during the retreat, retreat programming, guided writing sessions, and group coaching conversations. Travel to and from the retreat and optional personal expenses are not included unless otherwise noted.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Because this retreat involves securing a private property and hosting a very small group, the deposit is non-refundable.

Additional payments may be refunded up to July 1, 2026, prior to the retreat. After that date, all payments are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your registration to another person with prior approval from the host.

In the unlikely event the retreat must be canceled by the host, all payments made will be refunded in full. The host is not responsible for additional expenses incurred, including travel costs.

Room Assignments & Private Room Upgrades

Sleeping arrangements vary. Private rooms are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Room assignments and sharing preferences will be confirmed after registration, and every effort will be made to honor stated preferences.

Accessibility & Personal Responsibility

Please note that the retreat property is not fully ADA accessible, and most bedrooms require navigating stairs. Participants are encouraged to consider their personal needs and reach out with questions prior to registration.

Participants are responsible for their own physical, emotional, and mental well-being during the retreat. This retreat is not a substitute for medical, therapeutic, or mental health care.

House Rules & Property Care

To ensure a restful and respectful experience for everyone, participants agree to the following house rules:

No pets allowed. Service animals are welcome with advance notice.

No cigarette or marijuana smoking inside or outside the property. A $1,500 deep-cleaning fee will be charged if violated.

No additional overnight guests beyond registered retreat participants.

No moving or rearranging furniture.

Failure to follow these rules may result in additional fees or removal from the retreat without refund.

Additional Fees & Requests

The following fees apply if needed:

Shipping items left behind: $30 handling fee, plus USPS packaging and postage

Conduct & Participation

This retreat is intended to be a respectful, supportive environment. All participants are expected to engage with kindness, discretion, and respect for personal boundaries. Participation in all activities is optional, and you are encouraged to listen to your energy and care for yourself throughout the weekend.

The host reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive or harmful, without refund.

Liability Waiver

By attending this retreat, you acknowledge and accept any inherent risks associated with travel, lodging, and group activities. You agree to release and hold harmless the host from liability for injury, illness, loss, or damage incurred during the retreat, except in cases of gross negligence.
